Why We Exist

I didn't set out to start a company. I was a software developer, and my first job happened to be on Odoo. 

That's where I noticed something most businesses quietly struggle with: their tools don't talk to each other. I kept seeing the same pattern. Customers tracked in spreadsheets, invoices in a separate app, scheduling handled through endless messages. Three people doing manual work that one connected system could handle.

Odoo clicked because it solves the problem at the root: one platform where everything connects. I went deeper, built on it, and eventually moved to South Korea, where Odoo was less visible.

I always wanted to work in AI, and now it's changing what's possible - so I'm walking into it on purpose, not watching from the sidelines. LanterNode is expanding from Odoo into AI-native software: AI that does the work on top of systems a business already trusts. Same root problem, a powerful new tool - and the same rule decides when to reach for it: we recommend AI where it genuinely fits, and say so when it doesn't. Odoo + AI, not Odoo vs AI.

I started LanterNode with one principle in mind: help clients make informed decisions, guided by our recommendations rather than one-way persuasion. Transparency as a practice, not a marketing word. We show what Odoo and AI can and can't do, name the trade-offs, and adjust as we go. Goals set together, delivery led by us.
